A personal design service from first sketch to final polish

HD Studio London creates bespoke jewellery from our Hatton Garden studio for clients across London and the UK.

Whether you are commissioning an engagement ring, marking an anniversary, creating a meaningful gift or transforming an inherited piece, we guide you through every decision. We discuss your ideas, preferred stones, metal, practical requirements and budget before developing a design for your approval.

Selected natural and laboratory-grown diamonds are available with independent GIA or IGI grading reports. Existing diamonds and jewellery can also be assessed for use in a new design.

What we create

Jewellery designed for the moment—and the years after it

Every commission begins with a purpose. We then shape the design, materials and details around the person who will wear it.

01

Bespoke engagement rings

Solitaire, halo, three-stone, vintage-inspired and contemporary designs developed around your preferred diamond, metal and setting style.

02

Wedding and anniversary jewellery

Wedding bands, eternity rings, pendants, earrings and significant gifts created to complement an existing piece or stand entirely on their own.

03

Heirloom redesign

We can assess inherited or unworn jewellery and explore how suitable stones and materials may be incorporated into a design you will wear today.

Our bespoke process

A clear process, with you involved at every stage

You will know what is being designed, what it will cost and what happens next before production begins.

STEP 01

Initial consultation

Visit our Hatton Garden studio or begin remotely. We discuss your inspiration, requirements, budget and preferred timeline.

STEP 02

Design direction

We refine the style, proportions, metal, stone and setting details so the brief is practical as well as visually right.

STEP 03

Stone selection

Compare natural and lab-grown options, shapes, sizes and grades. Selected diamonds are supplied with independent GIA or IGI reports.

STEP 04

Sketch or CAD approval

Where appropriate, we prepare sketches or CAD visuals so you can review the design before workshop production starts.

STEP 05

Workshop production

The approved piece is created and finished through our Hatton Garden workshop, using the agreed materials and specifications.

STEP 06

Final check and collection

We complete final quality checks before your piece is collected from the studio or arranged for insured UK delivery where available.

Frequently asked questions

Before starting a bespoke commission

How much does bespoke jewellery cost?
Bespoke commissions currently start from £1,500. The final quotation depends on the chosen metal, diamonds or gemstones, size and design complexity. We agree the price before production begins.
How long does a bespoke commission take?
Most pieces take approximately four to eight weeks after design approval. Complex designs, specialist stones or unusually busy periods may require additional time.
Can I use an existing diamond or inherited jewellery?
Yes. We can inspect existing jewellery and stones and discuss whether they are suitable for the proposed design. Their condition, dimensions, alloy and practical requirements determine what can be reused safely.
Do you offer natural and lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. We offer natural and laboratory-grown options and can explain the differences in rarity, grading, appearance and budget. Selected diamonds are supplied with independent GIA or IGI grading reports.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes. The initial consultation is free and gives us an opportunity to understand your ideas, budget and timing before recommending the next step.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended so we can reserve time for you, but walk-ins are accepted Monday to Friday, subject to studio availability.
Can you work with clients outside London?
Yes. We primarily serve London clients and also assist customers throughout the UK. Remote discussions and insured delivery options may be available depending on the commission.
