Jewellery services in Hatton Garden, London

Whatever has happened to your jewellery, begin by showing us the piece.

A clasp may have broken, a ring may no longer fit or an inherited piece may feel ready for a different life. Helen and David listen to what it means to you, look carefully at what it needs and guide you towards repair, restringing, resizing, polishing, remodelling or a new design.

Your approval first The proposed work and quotation are agreed before we begin.

Care that follows the piece

What you bring us is never only metal and stones.

It may be the ring you touch without thinking, the necklace someone fastened for you years ago or the bracelet that has travelled through your family. That history changes the way a repair, resize or redesign should be discussed.

We want to understand how the jewellery has been worn, what has changed and which details you would most like to protect. Once we know that, the technical choices become much easier to explain.

A more personal process

You do not need the technical answer before you visit.

Start with what you can see, what you remember and what you would like the jewellery to do for you now.

STEP 01

Start with what you have noticed

Show us the jewellery and describe the change, damage or result you are hoping for.

STEP 02

Examine the piece itself

Helen or David looks at its visible condition, construction and the details that may shape what is possible.

STEP 03

Compare the practical options

We set out what can be done, what may not be advisable and the likely route from here.

STEP 04

Choose what feels right

You decide whether to proceed once the work, quotation and any practical limitations have been explained.

Complimentary jewellery health check

Useful when you can see a concern but cannot name the service.

If you are unsure whether the issue is repair, fit, finish or something else, a complimentary visual check can help narrow it down before you make any decision.

  • Visible wear, movement or damage
  • Questions about repair, restringing or fit
  • Whether restoration or redesign deserves consideration

Questions about our jewellery services

You can begin before you have all the answers.

The jewellery itself usually tells us more than a photograph or description can.

Do I need to know which jewellery service to book?

No. Choose a general appointment or complimentary jewellery health check and tell us what concerns you. We can guide you towards repair, restringing, resizing, polishing, remodelling or design after seeing the piece.

Do you provide a quotation before work starts?

Yes. The jewellery usually needs to be assessed before the scope and price can be confirmed. We explain the proposed work and agree the quotation with you before proceeding.

Can I visit without an appointment?

Walk ins are welcome subject to studio availability, but an appointment is recommended so Helen or David can give your jewellery and questions dedicated time.

Can I send photographs before I visit?

Yes. Photographs can help us understand the enquiry, particularly for repair or remodelling. A final recommendation or quotation may still require the jewellery itself to be examined.

Do you work with clients outside London?

Please contact us before sending any jewellery. We can discuss whether sending the piece to us from within the UK is appropriate and what arrangement would be suitable for that particular item.

If you can, let us see the piece in person.

Seeing the jewellery together with you gives us the best chance to notice the details that photographs can miss and to understand how you want to wear it.
