The Mayfair takes its shape from a cushion-cut centre diamond and gives the setting a softer, more detailed character through 18k rose gold, fine milgrain and pavé-set side stones. The result has a vintage influence without depending on an antique ring to create it.
Details like milgrain are best considered at normal viewing distance as well as under magnification. Try the ring on, look at how the cushion shape sits across the finger and decide whether the warmth of rose gold belongs with the person who will wear it. Those reactions matter more than choosing a style because it fits a label.
